• Install a quick disconnect connector to the end of the pigtail connector cable. A quick disconnect connector is a type of connector that allows you to connect and disconnect cables quickly and easily. Follow the instructions that come with the quick disconnect connector to install it correctly.
• Route the permanent cable from the location where you want to add it to the quick disconnect connector. Use cable ties or clamps to secure the cable in place.
• Connect the permanent cable to the quick disconnect connector. The quick disconnect connector should snap into place securely.
• Test the connection to make sure that it is secure and functioning properly. You can use a multimeter to check the voltage and resistance of the connection.
• That's it! You have successfully added a permanent cable to the battery of your ZX14 motorcycle that can be accessed from the outside of the panels. This will make it easier for you to connect a trickle charger or any other accessory that requires access to the battery.
